We are looking for dynamic, enthusiastic, committed and highly talented individuals for the roles of Assistant Manager – IT Support Services and Senior HR Consulting Associate for our Uganda office.Overall role The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the organization’s IT infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently while providing exceptional customer service and technical support to internal users. You will install and configure computer systems, diagnose hardware and software faults, solve technical and applications problems.Essential duties and responsibilities: • Oversee the day-to-day activities of the IT support team, providing technical expertise to meet the organization’s IT needs.• Monitor performance of IT systems, determine cost and productivity levels and make recommendations for improving IT infrastructure.• Stay up-to-date with the latest IT trends and technologies to enhance the department’s capabilities.The ideal candidate should have: • Degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.• 5+ years’ experience in a similar role in a highly professional and dynamic organization.• Strong knowledge of IT security practices, backup mechanisms, and disaster recovery protocols.
