Profil du candidat Qualifications & Experience·Minimum Bsc in Geology.·Minimum of 10 years of experience as reservoir Geophysicist with practice in the following competencies: seismic QC, seismic processing/inversion, structural interpretation, Time-to-depth conversion, well preparation, uncertainty analysis, reservoir characterization.

Exposure to headquarter studies, affiliate environment and well operations.

Experience in Overburden/Cap Rock monitoring is a plus.

·Demonstrated team spirit, solidarity, strong coaching & communication skills, commitment & efficiency, work in multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural teams Activités The Senior Geophysicist interacts with the rest of the multi-disciplinary GSR team (Operation Geologists, Petrophysicists, Geophysicists, Geologist, Reservoir Engineers) during the preparation and follow-up of the project’s execution.

·Responsible for providing the geophysical inputs of Well SORs in close collaboration with the geologists, reservoir engineers, Operation Geology & drilling teams (objectives, well trajectory, target box, section TD criteria, data acquisition).·During drilling operations, responsible for providing and communicating (within the GSR team and to the D&W team) the most appropriate geophysical interpretations and participate in the decision-making progress to safely deliver the wells and achieve their objectives (Markers interpretation, stratigraphical interpretation, lithological assessment...).·Responsible of the quality & pertinence of the geophysical data and studies.

Validate the reference seismic data used for any seismic interpretation or well preparation.

Apply the best practice in managing these data, together with the Geoinformation team.·Responsible for the wells’ results integration during the development drilling campaign to prepare and optimize the design of the next wells and/or pads (continuous improvement).

This task could include the update of the reservoir model on-the-fly.·Ensure the analysis, the interpretation, and the synthesis of the seismic data.·Responsible for providing pertinent and valid geophysical input to the documentation & reporting required by the stakeholders (JV partners, Local Authorities, affiliate, HQ)·Propose continuous improvements on the way the team (2 G) works, add value to the project by identifying new technologies (from the company or external) applicable to Tilenga.·Contribute to the improvement of the team’s geophysics skills and the coaching of the (junior?) geophysicists/geoscientists to secure the advancement of the global geophysical work and the technical quality of the work performed by TEPU geophysicists.·Promote the technical seismic-related work done on Tilenga with JV partners and authorities (workshops, presentations, documentation…)·Responsible for identifying, scoping and following-up the geophysical-related studies carried by the Technical Line in HQ in collaboration with Customer Line Onshore upstream·Geophysical representative of TEPU responsible to follow up the non-operated asset (Kingfisher) Contexte et environnement A Green Field Project, the Tilenga field is to be found in a remote location in UGANDA near lake Albert with particular sensitive environmental conditions. A challenging project; heavy and waxy oils produced from 31 drilling pads, (with some of them located in a national park) and treated in a Production Center of 200,000bopd oil capacity and 650,000 bld of water treatment capacity.

Reservoir pressure maintenance is ensured either by water injection or by polymer water injection depending on the reservoirs characteristics.

The project also includes an extended interconnecting network with temperature preservation.

Multicultural environment: Contractors are anticipated to be located in various parts of the world.

Ugandan rules and regulations, administrative requirements and technical authorizations as well as International codes for onshore plant will apply.
