Nature and Scope
Maintains a safe and secure environment for staff, students and visitors by patrolling the campus, and monitoring premises and personnel.
1. Professional Responsibilities
`Security
To ensure that the agreed procedures and systems for opening and locking the school are fully implemented
To respond to emergency call-outs and take action as appropriate
To alert the appropriate person to any risk to a breach of security and deal with any incident affecting security as directed
To patrol the site to check for hazards, damages and intruders
To ensure that lighting is kept in good working order
Supervising contractors as appropriate, regarding access to the site, monitor and log the progress of the work and ensuring that work is carried out to the required standard, as appropriate
To monitor and be aware of the entry and exit of persons on school monitored property
To guard and secure school monitored properties
Other duties as assigned

4. Professional Qualifications
A personal commitment to Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord
Preferred relevant security experience and training certification
Exhibit a continuing sense of God’s calling to minister at Heritage International School
Demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing
