Position: Sales Manager (Notebooks & Stationery)Location: Jinja, Uganda Job Profile: The position is for their new Division, wherein they are setting up new Manufacturing plant for notebooks, Exercise Books, notepads, etc. This position will be responsible for generating business mainly from schools/ Colleges /education and corporations.
Key responsibilities: Manage and handle key accounts (Distributors, Sub-Distributors, Stockist, Wholesalers and Supermarkets) and devote your 70 % time to the market.
Managing organizational sales & distribution functions by developing a Strategic business plan that covers sales, distribution, expands the customer base, revenue, and expense controls.
& update customer’s database regularly.
Generating business leads from schools, colleges, corporations.
Be knowledgeable about the company’s products & services.
Communicate to Customers about the features, benefits and values of a company’s products & services to drive sales and setting individual sales targets with the sales force.
Propose innovative ideas to increase market share.
Conduct promotional activities & product launches.
Ensure all route sales vehicles go to market at 7:30 AM and returns by 4:00 PM.
Ensure all route sales vehicles to be reconciled and loaded for the next day between 4:00 to 6:00 PM.
Conducting regular sales and operations meetings.
Takes up and performs any other duty as it may be assigned.
Desired Candidates: Any graduate with 8 – 15 years in Managing Sales of Notebooks & Stationery products.
