Description

As Bird expands its field sales operations with Independent Software Vendors (ISVs), we are seeking a Team Lead for Field Sales who can drive new business through ISV partnerships and lead a team of high-performing Account Executives in this space.

As a Team Lead - Field Sales ISVs, you will be responsible for managing a team of Account Executives focused on selling Bird’s CRM and communication solutions through Independent Software Vendors (ISVs).

You will lead the team to exceed revenue targets, drive new business, and develop long-term partnerships with ISVs.

This role requires a combination of leadership, strategic thinking, and deep expertise in managing ISV partnerships.

You will work closely with Sales, Product, and Marketing teams to drive results, provide coaching and guidance to your team, and ensure the successful execution of Bird’s ISV strategy.

What you’ll do Key Responsibilities: Team Leadership and Management: Lead and manage a team of Account Executives focused on ISV partnerships, providing guidance and support to drive team success.

Set clear performance goals and hold the team accountable for achieving revenue targets.

Conduct regular coaching and training sessions to ensure the team is equipped to sell Bird’s solutions effectively.

Strategic ISV Partnerships: Develop and execute a field sales strategy for ISVs, identifying key partners and driving new business through strategic alliances.

Work with key stakeholders within ISV organizations to understand their needs and position Bird as the preferred CRM and communication solution.

Ensure successful integration and long-term partnership development with ISVs.

Quota Management and Revenue Growth: Own and manage the revenue targets for the ISV field sales team, ensuring consistent quota attainment.

Monitor individual and team performance, making adjustments as necessary to ensure success.

Cross-Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with Product, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to ensure alignment on product offerings, partner success, and go-to-market strategies.

Share insights and feedback with leadership to improve Bird’s overall ISV strategy and execution.

What you’ll bring5+ years of sales experience, with at least 2+ years in a leadership role.

Proven ability to manage and grow ISV partnerships, with a strong track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets.

Experience leading and mentoring sales teams, with a focus on driving performance and accountability.

Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage relationships with ISV partners at the executive level.

Proficiency with CRM platforms (Bird preferred) and pipeline management tools.
