Security Officer Full Time, Kampala

Exquisite Solution Limited, a leading HR recruitment and management firm, is hiring a Security Officer on behalf of our client in the manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will oversee and support security operations across company sites by monitoring, identifying, and reporting potential threats or breaches. The role involves close coordination with contracted security personnel to maintain a safe and secure workplace

Key Responsibilities Control and monitor assigned access points in compliance with company security procedures.

Prevent loss, theft, wastage, or misuse of company property in line with established policies.

Conduct thorough body and vehicle searches at entry and exit points, identifying and reporting risks or non-conformances.

Disarm all armed visitors upon entry and restrict access to sensitive or restricted areas.

Securely store and guard visitors’ firearms in designated storage facilities.

Supervise and witness the receipt and dispatch of goods and materials in accordance with company procedures.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date security registers and dispatch records.

Prepare, maintain, and safeguard all security-related documentation and reports.

Identify potential security risks during duty execution and promptly report them to the Security Supervisor.

Perform any other duties as assigned by management.

Conduct routine patrols across company premises to ensure safety and compliance.

Qualifications and Requirements UACE certificate required; however, a Diploma in any field is an added advantage

Minimum of two (2) years of progressive experience in security operations.

Good understanding of criminal investigation procedures.

Clean record with no criminal convictions.

Strong attention to detail and observation skills.

High level of mental alertness, integrity, and sound judgment.

Physically fit and able to perform security-related tasks effectively
