Hiring a Professional Global Services Engineer to join RAD’s technical support team in India.

Roles & Responsibilities Be actively involved in post-sales and pre-sales solution support activities Perform demonstration of proof of concepts (Po C), installation, homologation testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and training for customers abroad or remotely Perform testing and troubleshooting techniques to identify and resolve technical issues Perform root cause analysis of issues Prepare technical documentation for customers Provide status and resolution communication to internal and external stakeholders Contribute to knowledge base of the team
Requirements 3-6 years of relevant work experience Engineering degree (BE/BTech) – a must Experience in a technical support role with an equipment manufacturer or systems integrator for multi-vendor solution - advantage Knowledge of Ethernet layer-2 Protocols: Frame Structure, VLAN, STP, LAG, G.8032, Y.1564, RFC2544, MEF, Ethernet-OAM Knowledge of Ethernet layer-3 Protocols: Basic Routing, MPLS, BGP, IPsec. Working experience with testers like Ve EX, JDSU, Spirent Knowledge in TDM network (E1 & SDH), Virtualization (SD-WAN), Linux OS - advantage Proven presentation skills and experience working with external customers Excellent written and verbal communications skills to handle global customers Problem solver, self-starter, performs well under pressure Ability to travel (locally or abroad) to support customers
