This individual will play a critical role in identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic relationships, and driving revenue growth.Key Responsibilities• Market Research: Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities within and beyond Uganda, including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products and services.• Lead Generation: Develop and implement strategies for lead generation, sales, and other business development goals within the manufacturing sector.• Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain relationships with business partners, clients, and key industry players within Uganda’s manufacturing sector. Attend industry events and conferences to meet potential clients and promote the company’s products.Negotiation and Closing Deals: Negotiate contract terms with clients and partners, ensuring they align withcompany’s objectives, and work towards timely and successful deal closures.• Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to meet business development goals. Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and production, to align these strategies with overall company objectives.• Customer Feedback: Gather and analyze customer feedback to guide product development and service improvement efforts.Qualifications• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field.• At least 3 years of experience in business development, sales, or a similar role within the manufacturing industry.• Proven ability to identify and develop new business opportunities.Familiarity with the manufacturing sector in Uganda and the broader East African region.• Excellent communication, negotiation, and sales skills.• Proficiency in English and other local languages would be an asset. • Interested applicants should send their Cover Letters and CVs to: , with a copy (cc) to•.
