The position holder will report to the Chief Finance Officer and will be based at the Head Office in Kampala, Uganda.Requirements1.An undergraduate degree in Commerce/Economics/ Finance and Mathematics-related course from a recognized university.2.A Masters' Degree in a Finance related course will be an added advantage.3. Must have ACCA/CPA qualification and membership.4. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite and packages5. Proven experience as management accountant, audit environment or similar role.Responsibilities1) Analyzing key financial data and advising senior management on strategic planning.2) Developing and implementing cost-effective financial policies and procedures.3) Preparing financial reports and budgets, as well as controlling and forecasting income and expenditure.4) Overseeing accounting procedures and supervising the junior financial department staff.5) Monitoring auditing and taxation practices, as well as evaluating benefits and compensation packages.6) Ensuring that financial management policies and procedures adhere to regulatory standards.
