Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and innovative IT Architect to join our team in ENGIE Energy Access. As an IT Architect, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing advanced IT solutions that align with business objectives and comply with regional regulations. Your expertise in system design, integration, and technology selection within the EEA context will be instrumental in driving our organization's success and ensuring the efficiency of our IT infrastructure. Key Responsibilities: Solution Design: Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into comprehensive IT solutions within the EEA regions. Design scalable, secure, and reliable systems that align with the company's strategic goals. Technology Evaluation: Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and assess their suitability for implementation in the EEA context. Recommend the adoption of relevant technologies that improve system performance and ensure compliance with regional regulations. EEA Compliance: Ensure that all IT architecture and solutions adhere to applicable data protection laws, security standards, and other regulatory requirements. Implement privacy by design principles and maintain compliance throughout the development lifecycle. System Integration: Develop integration strategies for new and existing IT systems to promote seamless data flow and interoperability. Identify potential integration challenges and propose effective solutions. Architecture Documentation: Create and maintain detailed architectural documentation, including system blueprints, design specifications, and technical diagrams, to facilitate understanding and collaboration across teams. Technical Leadership: Provide expert guidance and technical leadership to development teams, engineering managers and project managers. Ensure that projects align with the overall IT architecture and follow best practices. Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks and vulnerabilities in the IT architecture, applications, and infrastructure. Develop and implement mitigation strategies to protect the organization's assets. Performance Optimization: Monitor the performance of IT systems and infrastructure, analyzing data to identify areas for improvement. Implement optimizations to enhance system efficiency, scalability, and reliability. Vendor Management: Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to evaluate third-party solutions, ensuring they align with the organization's architectural standards and compliance requirements. Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the EEA IT architecture, seeking opportunities to streamline processes, enhance security, and increase operational efficiency. Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 10 years of experience with at least 5 years experience as an IT Architect or in a similar role. Strong knowledge of data protection laws, security regulations, and privacy by design principles. Extensive experience in system design, integration, and architecture principles. Proficiency in evaluating and recommending emerging technologies suitable for implementation. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on risk assessment and mitigation. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Familiarity with cloud technologies, enterprise application integration, and IT governance frameworks is advantageous.
