MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS At least seven years of human resources or related management experience Experience with occupational health and safety Significant experience managing training programs Proven experience designing and managing performance management systems Experience managing human resources information systems Management capabilities with proven capacity to oversee and motivate diverse teams Experience with agriculture is a significant plus Extraordinary attention to detail Exceptional work ethic, proactive attitude and energy Willingness to live at least three weeks per month in Kigumba; one week working from Kampala satellite office Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks of any scale in a high-pressure environment Broad range of computer skills RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: Execute the human resources strategy of the company Implement the policies set out in the human resource manual and recommend updates to the policies as applicable Develop & implement recruiting strategies to acquire leading talent Establish & implement on-boarding processes Manage company trainings on corporate goals and values Implement programs that build company morale Manage employee files and the HR Information System Develop, implement and monitor a performance management system to develop and retain leading talent Ensure compliance with local labor laws Participate in the disciplinary committee Oversee the implementation of the human resources elements of the companys gender strategy Responsible for the development and implementation of the companys occupational health and safety strategy Contribute to internal communications Manage payroll, casual labor, and contractor requisitions Manage & update the organization chart, pay scales, and role descriptions Oversee the administration of the human resource programs Oversee community relations and public relations Oversee health and safety Oversee gender related initiatives Oversee security Oversee site administration Undertake various other tasks to be assigned to you ONLY short-listed candidates will be contacted
