The opportunity
• Qualifications Required for EY Risk, Technology, and Cybersecurity Consulting Roles:
• A First Class or Second-Class Upper Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines: Accounting, Finance, or other Business-related fields, Statistics, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) Law or Computer Science.
• A full or part professional qualification such as CPA, CIA, ACCA, CISA, CISM, CISSP, CRISC, CEH, or other recognized professional certifications is a distinct advantage, particularly for Risk and Cybersecurity roles.
• While no prior work experience is mandatory, demonstrated interest or academic exposure to risk management, information systems, or technology strategy will be considered an added benefit.
Key Responsibilities:
• Participate in consulting engagements across Risk Consulting, Technology Transformation, and Cybersecurity, supporting clients across sectors in addressing regulatory, operational, and digital transformation challenges.
• Contribute to the planning, execution, and delivery of consulting projects under supervision, including
• Performing risk assessments, process reviews, controls testing, and gap analyses
• Assisting in technology strategy, data analytics, ERP and system audits, and cybersecurity reviews
• Collect and analyse data from clients and other relevant sources to support evidence-based recommendations.
• Set up and maintain engagement files, prepare working papers, and ensure proper documentation of all project activities and findings.
• Work collaboratively with senior team members to prepare client deliverables, presentations, and reports.
• Understand and apply EY methodologies and frameworks, including those related to enterprise risk, cybersecurity governance, and IT advisory.
• Identify and communicate potential issues, risks, or unusual trends identified during analysis or engagement procedures.
• Demonstrate strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills to support high-quality delivery and build trusted client relationships.
