Exquisite Solution Limited, a leading HR recruitment and management firm, is seeking a qualified and experienced Crane Operator to join our client’s team in the Oil and Gas industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing all crane lifting operations on-site.
Key Responsibilities Operate cranes safely and efficiently in accordance with site procedures and safety standards.
Conduct pre-operation inspections to ensure the crane is in safe working condition.
Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs to maintain crane functionality and reliability.
Participate in pre-job safety meetings and fully understand and follow lifting operation plans.
Wear and maintain appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) throughout each shift.
Clean and maintain the crane’s hoisting mechanism and associated components.
Operate crane controls, including levers and pedals, with precision and care.
Collaborate with the rig crew and assist with additional tasks as assigned by rig management.
Qualifications and Requirements Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) or an equivalent qualification.
A valid government-issued driving license with the appropriate class for crane operation.
Minimum of 2 years of proven experience as a Crane Operator.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills
