DescriptionBackgroundLiving Goods is a global organization headquartered in Nairobi, Kenya that’s dedicated to ensuring women and children have access to high-quality health care at their doorsteps. We have proven success in saving lives at scale by supporting governments and their community health workers to reach people at the last mile with quality health services.The Living Goods Uganda Support Office is located on Hanlon Road, Plot 21 in Bugolobi, Kampala, Uganda.Rational (Interior Design Idea):Living Goods is seeking an interior designer's services to create a vibrant, professional-looking office space that enables our teams (up to 50 staff) to easily collaborate, brainstorm and work effectively.Time Scope:Full project Starting March 2023 - End of July 2023.Works on conference hall starting 27th March 2023 – End of April 2023.Scope of works Design service:Review the existing structural design of the Living Goods office space and prepare the interior design suitable for the organization’s new office staffing plan.Review the existing office branding plan ideas for Living Goods and recommend a suitable idea from an architectural/engineering perspective.Prepare a visual layout for workstations, conference/meeting rooms, and other facilities such as the kitchen, reception, and outside dining space.Provide interior design ideas and solutions.Provide proper working drawings and artistic impressions for all construction works.Provide all other details, work plans, and budgetary estimates for ideas implementation. Advisory services:Review existing ideas and contribute to them.Provide advisory recommendations and weekly reports on the progress of the implementation of the interior design plans.Submit a completion of evaluation report upon the completion of the project.Expected schedule of requirementsTechnical requirements :After visiting the Living Goods offices, the vendor is expected to review existing ideas, and offer advice and an artistic impression for the revised office space, boardrooms, conference room, and dining area. In addition, they are required to present a project work plan and budgetary estimate as guided below.Present Architectural designRevised interior floor plans.Revised furniture and fixtures layout plans.Revised ceiling design & layout plans.Revised reception layout plan.Revised branding area layout.Proposed blockage layout between the conference room and toilet.Proposed worktop area layout for tea and utensils near the gazebo.Present Electrical designRevised ceiling and lighting layoutRevised Power access Point layout.Auxiliary layout: (AC installation, LCD Installations, and sound systems) Kitchen Area & Dining- Revised outside dining layoutGate AreaProposed electronic ID check-in system design.Proposed electrical signage installation layout.Budget & WorkplansBudget estimates & Work schedule.Specific requirementsIf given the job, LivingGoods expects the vendor to do the following work in these areas.Conference Room (Gazebo)Redesign the current conference room (gazebo) to have a state-of-the-art ceiling with installed ACs, sound systems, and Lights to give it a professional look and cool feeling.Redesign the conference room (gazebo) to have a state-of-the-art presentation section with a permanent projection space.Redesign the conference room (gazebo) to have a better electrical and networking cabling system.Redesign the conference room (gazebo) to have a state-of-the-art conference floor.Redesign the seating area in the conference room to provide for proper use of space.Redesign the conference room to provide wall branding space to communicate the company's corporate image.Set up a worktop area near the gazebo for making tea and space for used kitchenware.Build a blockade between the conference room (gazebo) and the toilet end.Main Office Space Ground and Top floorRedesign the current main office (ground floor) to provide wall branding space to communicate the company’s corporate image.Redesign the current main office space (ground floor) to have a state-of-the-art ceiling with installed ACs and lights to give it a professional look and cool feeling.Redesign the current main office (ground floor) with standard separators installed on each staff desk. At the same time, modern furniture in an office is also desired.Redesign the current main office (ground floor) to have a better electrical and networking cabling system.Redesign the outside extension at the main office to provide proper lighting, aeration, and space for branding.Redesign the upstairs section with standard separators installed. At the same time, cushioned seats should be installed on the balcony for relaxation.Redesign the current office space to have a better electrical and cable networking system running.Boardrooms/Meeting RoomsRedesign the current board rooms and meeting rooms to have presentation space for LCD screen installation.
