As a Casual Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and providing financial guidance as required.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred).
• Proven experience as an Accountant or similar role.
• Proficiency in accounting software (Quick Books) and MS Office Suite.
• Strong understanding of financial principles and regulations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
• Financial Data Entry: Accurately enter financial transactions into accounting software and maintain organized and up-to-date financial records.
• Reconciliation: Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
• Financial Reporting : Prepare financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, on a periodic basis.
• Budget Monitoring : Assist in monitoring and managing budgets, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
• Accounts Payable and Receivable : Process invoices, payments, and collections, and maintain records of outstanding balances.
• Expense Management : Review and verify expense reports and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Financial Analysis : Analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Tax Compliance : Assist in the preparation and filing of tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
• Ad-Hoc Financial Projects : Contribute to various financial projects and tasks as needed.
