We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Casual Accountant to join our team on a flexible, as-needed basis.

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in accounting, finance, and be well-versed in financial principles, practices, and regulations.

As a Casual Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and providing financial guidance as required.

Requirements• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred).• Proven experience as an Accountant or similar role.• Proficiency in accounting software (Quick Books) and MS Office Suite.• Strong understanding of financial principles and regulations.• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities• Financial Data Entry: Accurately enter financial transactions into accounting software and maintain organized and up-to-date financial records.• Reconciliation: Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.• Financial Reporting: Prepare financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, on a periodic basis.• Budget Monitoring: Assist in monitoring and managing budgets, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and company policies.• Accounts Payable and Receivable: Process invoices, payments, and collections, and maintain records of outstanding balances.• Expense Management: Review and verify expense reports and ensure compliance with company policies.• Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide recommendations for improvement.• Tax Compliance: Assist in the preparation and filing of tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations.• Ad-Hoc Financial Projects: Contribute to various financial projects and tasks as needed.
