Job Description Coca-Cola Beverages Africa [CCBA] is the largest African Coca-Cola Bottler, accounting for 40% of all Coca-Cola volumes on the continent. Coca-Cola Beverages Uganda Limited is a subsidiary of CCBA. We are currently seeking to recruit Quality Controller based in Kampala.Asa Quality Controller, you will report directly to the Quality Assurance Technologist (QAT).Key Purpose Statement The primary role of the Quality Controller is to ensure that all incoming raw and packaging materials meet Company specifications.Key Duties & Responsibilities • Incoming inspection of all raw and packaging materials• Ensure calibration of Laboratory equipment is calibrated and maintained.• Preparation and standardization of Laboratory reagents.• Reporting equipment status to the QAT• Carrying out validation tests on both product and package as assigned from time to time• Comply with quality systems, standards, and practices.• Interpret and apply GLP and GMP requirements in the laboratory.• Comply with the requirements of the QMS, policies, SOP’s and work instructions• Comply with safe working procedures/signage and standards.• Communicate professionally• Proactively encourage participation, problem-solving, and idea-sharing in team meetings and daily interactions to continuously entrench thinking and application of WCM principles.• Develop self-awareness.Skills, Experience & Education Qualifications • Minimum requirement: Degree in Food Science and Technology, Biology, Chemistry, or any other related fieldExperience • 3 years of technical experience in an FMCG environmentCompetencies • Administration and assertiveness• Compliance, Governance, and Ethics• Detailed focused• Problem-solving and analysis• Routine• Self-discipline and Self-motivated• Team player
