Job Summary: The Project Officer (1) with funds from Micro Business Recovery Support (MBRS) project will work with youth-led enterprises trained in vocational skills with support of WHH Skill Up! Project. Key Duties and Responsibilities: Mobilize and sensitize the youth entrepreneurs targeted by the project.Organize mentorship activities and exposure visits for the selected youth entrepreneurs.Conduct analyses that inform the project decisions to support the given enterprises, especially regarding business viability.Support project planning, procurement, preparation of lists for disbursing finances to the selected youth enterprisesPrepare project documentation, briefs and reports and compile learnings for dissemination to stakeholders.Render support regarding business development services – make referrals for such services and facilitate linkages with relevant entities such as financial institutions, URSB, USSIA etc.Identify needs for training and capacity building among the selected youth/enterprises.Support M&E activities Qualifications, Skills and Experience: Possession of a bachelor’s degree with a bias in Entrepreneurship, MSME Development or a related field of study.Adept in the use of computers, internet, Microsoft Office packages etc.At least five years of experience in working with the youth focused project.Experience in working with micro enterprises and business startups.Possession of business planning and analysis skillsCapable of identifying and training mentors and arranging mentorship sessionsPossession of M&E skillsFluent in spoken and written English plus working knowledge of Rutooro
