Job Description Business ManagementEnsure the following:• To lead investigations into suspicion of fraudulent, criminal and security activities as reported by stakeholders, providing an independent report for management to assist the disciplinary process and represent the bank in any related police and court proceedings;• Liaise and work with law enforcement agencies, professionals and commercial organizations in this field of expertise.• Lead investigations on incidents and cases referred for investigation, examining appropriate records and documentation, interviewing all relevant parties internally and externally and reporting findings to management.• Minimize fraud losses and maximize recoveries. Report recommendations and track them out of investigations results.• Liaise with other fraud teams within the industry to collate and share intelligence as appropriate.• Liaison and maintenance of effective communication with Police, Government authorities and external fraud investigators to collate and share intelligence as appropriate, and to ensure that BSIS & FM is kept abreast of the most up to date information/intelligence on crime.• Report any Country legislative requirement that affect Absa Bank.• To attend court in criminal cases where suspects have been arraigned before court.• Attend to Warrants to investigate accounts served on the bank from law enforcement agencies• Maintaining effective liaison with enforcement agencies and external fraud investigators within the industry.• Liaise with other fraud teams within the industry to collate and share intelligence as appropriate.Personal Development • Agree performance development objectives with the line manager.• Pursue self-development to increase personal effectiveness, acknowledging strengths and areas for development.People Management • Coach and lead a section of investigators.• Managers leave and trainings within SLA.• Develop talent plans for the teams EducationBachelor`s Degrees and Advanced Diplomas: Law, Military Science and Security (Required)a
