The FGE District Manager is responsible for leading brand standards at stores within a geographically assigned area for Five Guys Operations in assigned region.

This position is responsible for demonstrating and providing in-depth operational knowledge and coaching of Five Guys Restaurant Operations to franchisees in assigned region.

This position will be responsible for achieving outstanding customer experiences in all stores while developing, coaching and mentoring franchisees to achieve the same level of success.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:• Responsible for demonstrating brand standards and in-depth operational knowledge at all franchise store locations in assigned division.• Demonstrates and trains franchisee new store locations in assigned division.• Responsible for the clear, accurate and timely communication from Five Guys Enterprises corporate entity to franchisees.• Responsible for assisting franchisees and their teams towards achieving financial success in new store openings, operations, and profit management.• Serves as the first point-of-contact between FGE and the franchisees in assigned division.• Assists the Senior Director of Operations in the building of annual budgets and capital planning.

Education/Experience:• 4 year college Degree preferred; Equivalent life experience considered.• 5+ years of multi-unit food service experience with a similar scope of responsibilities.

Equivalent life experience will be considered.• 3+ years of experience in Profit and Loss Statements with analytical expertise to identify financial trends.

Language Ability: This position requires excellent written, verbal and group communication skills.

This position also requires the ability to read, analyze, create and interpret general business memos and documents.

This individual may need to communicate in an language other than English, depending on the assigned territory.

Math Ability: This position requires excellent business math skills.

Reasoning Ability: The position requires pragmatic analyzing skills and problem-solving abilities.

Computer Skills: Exceptional computer skills required in Microsoft Office Suite, Internet.

Supervisory Responsibilities: This position requires supervisory responsibilities.

Physical Demands: This position may require long hours sitting and using office equipment and computers.

There may also be extensive lifting of supplies and materials.

The use of hands and arms to reach for, grasp and manipulate objects is required.

Travel will be required 50-80% of time.
