In-House Interior Architect (Restaurants | Fast Casual & QSR)

Location: Based in Kampala & travelling to Nairobi for a large project

Full-Time | $3,500 Net + Full Expat Package

We’re looking for a technically strong Interior Architect to lead the design and rollout of high-performing restaurant spaces across fast casual and QSR brands. This role is ideal for someone who understands how to balance design, efficiency, and operational flow in fast-paced F&B environments.

Key Responsibilities

-Design and execute restaurant layouts across multiple outlets

-Produce detailed drawings, technical packs, and specifications

-Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and suppliers

-Ensure alignment with brand standards and operational efficiency

-Oversee site execution and maintain quality control

-Manage timelines, budgets, and material selections

-Support concept development and multi-site rollouts

Requirements

-5+ years’ experience in interior architecture (F&B projects preferred)

-Degree in Interior Architecture, Architecture, or similar

-Strong portfolio in hospitality/commercial design

-Proficient in Auto CAD, Revit, or similar

-Solid understanding of space planning, materials, and workflow

-Strong project management and coordination skills
