Job Description Job Purpose / Objective: I. Contribute to the successful execution of the project by accurately measuring and monitoring different parameters related to construction activities.II. Measurement and Data Collection: Collect accurate data related to earthwork, asphalt placement, concrete pouring, pavement thickness, alignment, and other relevant parameters using surveying instruments and technologies.2. Quality Control: Verify that construction activities meet design specifications and quality standards by conducting regular inspections and measurements.3. Documentation: Maintain detailed records of measurements, survey data, and inspection results. Prepare reports and documentation for project managers and stakeholders.4. Coordination: Collaborate with other engineers, contractors, and surveyors to ensure that measurements are coordinated and aligned with project milestones.5. Problem Solving: Identify and address any measurement discrepancies, deviations, or issues promptly to prevent delays and ensure construction quality.6. Safety Compliance: Ensure that all measurements are conducted with strict adherence to safety regulations and guidelines.7. Technology Utilization: Use various surveying and measurement technologies, such as Total Stations, GPS, laser scanners, and software tools to streamline data collection and analysis.8. Communication: Effectively communicate measurement results and updates to project managers, engineers, and other relevant stakeholders.9.
